At present, Eastern Technical Engineering Public Company Limited (the “Company” or “ETE”) and the subsidiaries (the “Group of Companies”) engage in businesses of Management Service, Engineering Service, Energy Business, such as solar energy and biomass, and Trading Business. Nature of business of the Group of Companies can be divided into 4 main groups, as follows:

THE 1ST GROUP: MANAGEMENT SERVICE OR MS

Management Service (MS) is classified into 2 formats: Manpower Management (MM) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). Managerial services provided, which have been certified by ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standard, are closely coordination and supervision of the customers’ employees throughout the contract term.

  1. Manpower Management or MM

    Manpower management is the “outsourcing employment” which means that the organization or the department assigns some parts of the works which are not the core functions of the business, such as administration work, driving work or maintenance work, etc., to the external organization or person to operate on its behalf. The Group of Companies will provide the services as if it is the human resources department for the group of personnel in the functions that it has been assigned to manage.

  2. Business Process Outsourcing or BPO

    Business Process Outsourcing is the provision of management service throughout the system by implementation of technology which is well-matched with the work processes to help improve some work systems of the customers for better efficiency, so that the customers can develop the core process to focus on the achievement of main targets of the organization.

THE 2ND GROUP: ENGINEERING SERVICE OR EN

Presently, the Engineering Service or EN is classified into 2 types: Electrical Power Engineering System or EE and Telecommunication Engineering System of TL.

  1. Electrical Power Engineering System or EE

    The Group provides installation and improvement services of the transmission line system, which is the transmission system of electricity with voltage of 115 kV from the generating sources to the substations in various regions throughout the country, and installation and improvement services of the distribution line system, which is the transmission system of electricity with voltage of 22 kV- 33 kV from the substations in various regions to the industrial plants or to the converter system to convert voltage level to 220 V- 380 V, then transmit to the small power users at the communities and residential areas. The Company can provide services for both overhead transmission & distribution line system and underground transmission & distribution line system, including lighting system service, electricity system for industrial sector as well as indoor building.

  2. Telecommunication Engineering System or TL

    At present, the expansion of transmission tower network covers almost all areas, so the growth rate of telecommunication network expansion works is slow down, on the contrary, the demand for mobile data usage is increasing. Consequently, the service providers must keep on investing on improving and modernizing the network equipment to expand the network in service areas to make them cover all areas in Thailand. As the Company sees the growth opportunity in the Telecommunication Engineering System, so it provides the installation services of electrical system of the telecommunication stations and the telecommunication towers. The Company also receives additional work continually when there is an expansion of network or changing of new equipment, including the installation works of solar cell panels for base stations of the mobile phone system operators.

THE 3RD GROUP: ENERGY BUSINESS OR ENG

Currently, the energy business can be divided into 3 categories: solar energy, biomass and investment on installation, generation and distribution of solar energy in the form of PPA (Power Purchase Agreement).

  1. Solar Energy

    This solar energy business is operated by the Company and ETE Management Company Limited (ETEM) by having generating capacity of 16.47 MW in total. All solar energy power plant projects are grounded amounted photovoltaic (PV) power plant, also known as the solar farm.

  2. Biomass

    Biomass business in Song Sub-district, Namyuen District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, which is operated by Bio Green Energy 3 Company Limited (“BGE 3”), the Company’s indirect subsidiary, is the 0.99 MW biomass power plant by using wood chips as fuel and gasification technology. It has the power purchase agreement under the small power producers (for power generation from renewable energy) with the Provincial Electricity Authority, with Feed-in Tariff (FiT). The commercial operation date (COD) of this power plant commenced on November 14, 2022.

  3. Investment on Installation, Generation and Distribution of Solar Energy in the form of Private PPA (Power Purchase Agreement)

    It is a Private PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) investment in the solar power generation project installed at base stations and telecommunication towers for energy saving cost and for distrubition of electrical energy generated from the solar energy system to True Move H Universal Communication Company Limited (True Move H”), the telecommunication operator who wishes to purchase electrical energy from the solar energy system as well as to use electricity from the electricity system of the main power utility currently in use.

THE 4TH GROUP: Trading and Other Services (Trading or “TD”)

This business segment focuses on the trading of biomass fuel products, particularly wood pellets. It is operated by ETA Woodchip Co.,Ltd., a subsidiary company. The company specializes in the sale of wood pellets made from rubberwood, mixed wood types, and other permitted species-comprising a total of 13 wood types-licensed and approved by the Royal Forest Department.

Biomass Pellets (Wood Pellets) are a type of solid fuel produced from wood waste and wood scraps left over from agriculture. These may include wood from pruned branches or discarded sawdust. The materials are processed through grinding into small particles, reducing moisture, and compressing into pellet form. This results in a fuel with high density, low moisture content, and consistent energy output. It is an alternative fuel used in various industrial sectors that require combustion systems and boilers in production processes, including food, textile, and ceramic industries, as well as biomass power plants where it is used to generate electricity.
